OPUS undertook the design and renovation of the administrative support offices of the Council of State, a project of high responsibility and national importance. The design and implementation aimed to create a functional and discreetly refined environment that reflects the institutional gravitas of the country’s supreme administrative court.
With a strong focus on human-centered design and ergonomics, emphasis was placed on organizing workflow, and selecting soft, calming materials that encourage concentration and convey the seriousness of the space.
The project fully met demanding requirements such as extensive archive storage, a large number of workstations, private meeting areas, advanced and energy-efficient HVAC systems, and optimal use and simulation of natural light — all carefully implemented within the spatial limitations of the premises.
The color palette was kept neutral and earthy, while furnishings were selected for their understated elegance and timeless quality. A critical parameter was the need to execute the works within fully operational facilities, with absolute respect for safety and the uninterrupted continuation of services.
The project was delivered within strict timelines, with the level of consistency and quality expected by such a distinguished institution.
