Marsh, one of the world’s leading insurance and risk management brokers (marsh.com), recently relocated its Athens headquarters to new, state-of-the-art premises on Kifisias Avenue, within a building owned by Grivalia Properties (grivalia.com).
This new chapter for Marsh was driven by the need for a workspace that would reflect the company’s reputation, reliability, and expertise. A comprehensive architectural proposal was requested, with a focus on:
-
ergonomic and efficient design for 70 workstations,
-
optimal utilization of available space,
-
smooth flow and operational functionality,
-
and the visual identity of a modern, international-level organization.
OPUS undertook full responsibility for the project as a single contractor, which included:
-
Architectural design and construction drawings
-
Renovation and configuration of 750 sq.m. of office space
-
Electromechanical adaptations based on new requirements
-
Construction of custom furnishings and specialized computer rooms (primary & disaster recovery)
-
Dismantling, packing, and transport of all equipment, furniture, and archives
-
Complete coordination of the relocation within a strict 2.5-day schedule (Friday evening – Sunday night)
The result:
Marsh employees left their former offices on Friday evening and resumed work seamlessly on Monday morning in their new, fully operational and organized workspace — an environment ready from day one to support their demanding business operations.
